My Approach to Helping
You may be having mixed emotions regarding starting the counseling process. As a licensed professional counselor, I offer a confidential space where you can discuss your life experiences without judgment. I specialize in helping those who feel overwhelmed by their thoughts and emotions and need help in order to cope. I enjoy working with stress, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship issues. I enjoy working with couples looking to enhance their relationship and learn new skills.
My style of therapy includes examining how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are affecting you and your relationships. I am trained in a variety of evidence based approaches to help you reach your goals. Together, we will come up with a plan to tackle the challenges you are experiencing.
If this sounds like what you are looking for please give me a call for a free 15 minute consultation.
*Please note that since moving from New Orleans, telehealth is the primary method of therapy for Louisiana residents. Also, I do not accept insurance* Thank you!

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I love giving my clients an hour to just show up, be themselves, and discuss their inner world. This is your time to focus on yourself. It is your time to focus on healing and change for the better. It is such an honor and joy to go through this process with clients.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
It is not uncommon to be turned off by the idea of therapy after having a negative experience. I understand that you have invested your time and energy only to be disappointed. Not all therapists have the same approach, so it's important to discuss with your therapist what you are looking for and if they can help. Let's discuss what worked for you and what did not so that we can ensure that this is a good fit.
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
I am a recovering perfectionist and overthinker. I am also an expert in worrying. My own experiences have shaped my professional decision to become a mental health therapist. I utilize my knowledge and life experience to provide the best care and treatment possible to my clients!
