My Approach to Helping
You’ve always been the strong one. The responsible one. The one who holds everything together. It worked for a long time — but now the anxiety, pressure, and internal tension are harder to ignore. You may react quickly in conflict or shut down when overwhelmed. You might feel perfectionistic in your work, relationships, or how you present yourself. You want to understand why this is happening, where this comes from, and how to actually feel grounded instead of constantly performing “being okay.”
I work with high-achieving Latina adults navigating anxiety rooted in childhood roles, attachment wounds, and cultural expectations. We explore how your past shaped your nervous system, your relationships, and your internal voice. We build nervous-system regulation skills so you can respond instead of react — and develop a calmer, more secure sense of self.
Therapy with me is warm, steady, reflective, and trauma-informed. There’s no pressure to rush — we go at your pace. You get space to feel, integrate, and practice new ways of being that are not defined by your past or by expectations placed on you.
