What's My Approach to Therapy?

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, certified eating disorder specialist, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) certified therapist offering online psychotherapy services for adults, adolescents, couples, and families. I specialize in relational therapy and complex trauma in addition to eating issues, integrating an attachment-focused, somatically-oriented, trauma-informed perspective. I am passionate about healing attachment and relational issues within couples and families, as well as working with individuals seeking both relief and personal growth from their suffering.

My approach is highly collaborative with goals of improving insight and awareness of self-defeating patterns to allow for meaningful shifts in how clients relate to others, behave in the world, and feel about themselves. I offer a supportive environment for change through authentic warmth and compassion. I am also gently and respectfully challenging and direct.

I truly love what I do, whether it be walking alongside an individual through their healing journey or helping couples and families navigate their way into more satisfying connections. I am happy to answer questions about my treatment philosophy and approach. Please contact me to learn more or to schedule a session to explore working together.
