My Approach to Helping

Choosing a therapist who is a good fit for your personal needs can be challenging. I am eager to support you on your journey to increased insight, compassion, and self-understanding.

Many people seek therapy because they feel overwhelmed by emotional distress, or they believe they have lost control of their life. I work closely with the individuals in my care and help them to find empowerment, meaning, and direction.

I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is essential for successful treatment. It will also help you to value other important relationships in your life. While therapy can be challenging, our sessions together can elevate your mood, relieve your anxiety, and contribute to a personal sense of fulfillment.

I offer mental health care to people who are experiencing a wide range of issues. However, I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship issues, chronic shame, and LGBTQ+ issues.

I encourage new and prospective clients to reach out to me with any questions they may have. My office is located in Dupont Circle.
