What's My Approach to Therapy?
I’m Danielle Walker, a licensed therapist dedicated to supporting individuals who are navigating anxiety, trauma, codependency, attachment concerns, and relationship challenges. My goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to express the thoughts and feelings that often go unspoken. Together, we can begin the process of healing, growth, and building stronger self-advocacy.
In my practice, I focus on a wide range of areas, including anxiety, codependency, attachment, life transitions, family and relationship dynamics, identity exploration, childhood trauma and inner child healing, perfectionism, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), posttraumatic stress (PTSD), and complex trauma. Many of my clients come to therapy seeking relief, clarity, and actionable steps forward, and I strive to help you navigate this.
In our sessions, we’ll look at the deeper patterns and core beliefs that may be shaping your life, explore how past experiences influence your present, and identify the roles or challenges that might be keeping you stuck. From there, we’ll work together to create practical steps that align with your goals. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you build insight, self-advocacy, and confidence, so you feel more equipped to handle life’s challenges.
