My Approach to Helping

Are you experiencing stress, anxiety or depression? Are you not sure what you’re feeling or how to make sense of life anymore? Are you navigating a life transition, significant changes or loss and seeking a supportive space to talk things through? Searching for a mental health therapist who takes insurance?

I offer therapy from the perspective that establishing a new, unique relationship provides the opportunity for transformation that is driven by a collaboration of curiosity as you and I seek to develop understanding of your life and the neurological restructuring and emotional self-regulation that is reestablished through this relationship and process.

With 7 years of diverse therapy experience, my sincere interest in the unique lives we live and how we develop our own sense of wellness continues to grow. Being involved in change that was once thought to be unreachable reaffirms my commitment to and recognition of the value of the therapy. I look forward to the chance to share that value with you.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

I provide a space and professional relationship in which you can speak freely and be heard which often promotes increased manageability of symptoms and improvements in self-regulation over the initial several sessions, allowing us to bring collaborative curiosity toward your life to further your self-understanding and insight leading to opportunities for longterm relief, change and wellness.

My Role as a Therapist

I believe being a lifelong learner is essential to my role as a therapist and my clinical judgment is always in development. Whether psychodynamic, CBT, philosophy, attachment theory, literature and beyond, I strive to integrate what we know about living well to best serve you in our therapeutic work together.
