What's My Approach to Therapy?
Self-discovery and growth can feel scary; as a therapist, it's my role to support you. My approach is to help clients move through emotional discomfort, challenge unhealthy beliefs, and explore who they are while providing compassion and acceptance. Together, we can work in a solution-focused manner to help you recognize the patterns in your life or relationships that may be holding you back. I’m a trauma-informed therapist who works with individuals and couples with optimism and understanding about the challenges they face.
My Practice & Services
I enjoy helping individuals in difficult life transitions and those working on self-esteem. I have a specialization in eating issues. I have experience working in higher levels of care for eating disorders and understand the modalities the main programs use. I use a combination of theoretical orientations, including CBT and ACT.
As a therapist, I bring compassion, curiosity, and a lighthearted touch to my work, creating a space where clients feel seen, supported, and understood. In my personal life, I love to spend time with friends and family, walk my dog, and eat ice cream. It would be my joy to partner with you on your therapeutic journey.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
What I love most about being a therapist is witnessing growth and change unfold in my clients? lives. It?s a privilege to walk alongside people as they navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and begin to see themselves in a new way. I value the trust that?s built in the therapeutic relationship and the opportunity to create a space where clients feel truly heard and supported. Each person?s journey is unique, and being part of that process continues to inspire and fulfill me.
