What's My Approach to Therapy?
Welcome! I’m Bridget (sheher). I am a licensed psychotherapist and nationally certified counselor licensed in Pennsylvania and Colorado. I specialize in working in perinatal health and wellness. This means I am certified and trained in working with those experiencing infertility, miscarriage, in vitro fertilization (IVF), pregnancy, and the postpartum period.
I am passionate about supporting individuals and families during the transformative journey of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. My mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to those navigating the challenges and joys of the perinatal period and beyond.
In addition to my focus on maternal mental health and women’s emotional wellness, I bring extensive training in supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and neurodivergence. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), psychodynamic therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the client. My work is grounded in a strengths-based, compassionate approach that honors both the complexity and resilience of the individuals I work with.
