What's My Approach to Therapy?
Are you struggling with leaving the past behind you? Are you trying to find your voice in your relationships? Are you wanting to free yourself from family trauma or your own history of complicated patterns? Wanting more positive thoughts, rediscovering yourself, feeling lost, or unmotivated? Afraid of your feelings or reactions?
I believe that therapy works best when you have a great connection with your therapist. I know that life can have its difficulties, but having a healthy, non-judgmental support system and the right tools can help you achieve your best self. My goal is to assist you in obtaining the life that you want. It takes courage to seek out help, but it is also the strongest thing that you can do, simply because it is easier to avoid than it is to confront. I am here to support and empower you during your journey. We will take it one session at a time because I want to meet you where you are.
I have experience in helping clients with trauma, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), stress and anxiety, depression, grief, addictions, LGBTQIA (coming out), intimate relationship issues, family trauma and conflicts, bipolar condition, personality challenges, and low self-esteem. I am a NAMA Certified Anger Management Specialist (Level II), therefore, understanding that anger is a natural human emotion that we all experience. Sometimes we need assistance exploring it in a much healthier way.
I believe in creating a comfortable environment for effective changes! All it takes is one step, so let's get started and turn lemons into lemonade.
