My Approach to Helping
Many of the clients I work with may be struggling with burn-out, lack of confidence, anxiety, overwhelm or unresolved trauma and are looking for a more embodied approach to healing. There’s a yearning for a deeper sense of inner-connection and fulfillment. Often, they are drawn to my unique approach - because while I absolutely lean on traditional talk therapy methods, getting into the nitty gritty and providing a very safe, nonjudgmental space to explore it all, I also have an extensive background in somatics, equipping me with the ability to incorporate and interweave these techniques throughout for deeper healing, when necessary.
Traditionally trained as a psychotherapist, I began to see a missing piece. I later went on to pursue another graduate degree in Neuroscience and extensive somatic training to bridge that gap. By integrating mind and body, I help clients release tension, build awareness, and embody the change they seek—not just in thought, but in felt, lived experience. If you have never explored somatics, please don't be intimidated by working with me. I still say that we are "psychodynamic-first", meaning you will still get all of the benefits of talk-therapy, but also a safe space to explore different techniques that have the ability to foster deep, body-based healing at your own pace or desire.
