She has known her whole life that helping others is what she wants to do and has vigorously pursued this passion to be where she is today. She maintains the philosophy that everyone needs support no matter their path in life. Whether you are seeking growth beyond healing, support on a specific matter, or just generally want to improvechange your life, Foundations is the place for you. She feels that no one is beyond hope and that no one is beyond help. Mariah has extensive experience working with adults however is competent in adolescents as well. She is trained in and enjoys helping individuals fulfill their highest potential.
Mariah Milne has a Master of Social Work with an emphasis in Adult Mental Health and a Bachelor of Social Work from Metropolitan State University. Mariah graduated in 2014 and is a Licensed Professional Social Worker. She started her career at the Coalition for the Homeless as her Bachelor internship, as well as the Eating Disorder Center of Denver for her Master internship. Since then, Mariah has worked with mental health, offenders, substance use, and trauma regularly. She has experience in court mandated treatment, medication assisted therapy, partial hospital settings, outpatient, inpatient, and anything in between. She has an eclectic approach in terms of therapy to best meet client needs. Mariah uses techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, existential psychology, exposure therapy, person-centered therapy, trauma-informed care, and rational emotive behavior therapy. Furthermore, she has a rich knowledge of varying psychological techniques to deliver the appropriate care.
