Hello, I am Dr. Tiera Williams, License Professional Counselor. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a doctorate degree in community and care counseling who has provided mental health services to individuals and families for over 13 years. I would love to connect with you to start this fulfilling journey! My therapy approach is individualized and consists of cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI) to address challenging issues. Specializing in helping individuals and families manage issues of depression, anxiety, women issues, anger management, self-esteem, behavior issues, ADHD, adjustmentmilitary, and trauma through a safe and supportive environment. I strive to help individuals meet their full potential with compassion and warmth. I encourage open and honest dialogue as I have a non-judgmental, welcoming atmosphere. As a child, I always had the desire to help others and started my career wanting to help those involved in the criminal justice system. As I began my work in the helping field, I recognized my desire to want to help others in many settings. Hence, I pursued my education to become a Professional Counseling. I am consistently energized by opportunities to help individuals in overcoming obstacles. I find it amazingly gratifying to support individuals in becoming the best version of themselves. I approach goal setting in a team effort, including the client and me, to identify the desires and needs of the client. We will realistically set goals with noticeable measures of progress to set the client up for success. The first session will include a discussion of informed consent, confidentiality, biopsychosocial assessment, and the development of a treatment plan. The assessment will consist of the client providing me with their reasoning for counseling and life history.
I believe a strong, trusting relationship with your therapist is the foundation for meaningful growth and change. In our work together, I meet you where you are, with empathy, compassion, and without judgment. My holistic approach focuses on your mind, body, and spirit, and I integrate both traditional and alternative therapies to support your overall well-being.
I believe that the best way to help you is to listen to the changes that you would like to make, and develop a treatment plan specific to your concerns and your personality. In many cases, no one therapeutic approach fits every one or every issue, so my goal is to make a you feel comfortable and understand more about your personal journey. The decision to pursue therapy can be difficult for many people, but it indicates that you want to change or improve certain aspects of your life, creating stronger relationships, a higher level of self-confidence, more focus and direction and many other areas for improvement.
Danielle Ginter is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Virginia, with over 7 years of experience assisting adults who need help coping with anxiety, depression, insomnia, stress, trauma, and posttraumatic stress (PTSD).
Typically I work with clients who have unresolved trauma and is still stuck in problematic behavioral patterns. They have often done some "talk therapy" in the past but didn’t really find it that helpful. I use more experiential methods to help you make lasting changes that improve your quality of life, not just provide stabilization. I’ve found that talk therapy can be one of the slowest ways to do therapy, and that if you ignore sensory input from the body, then you’re only doing therapy from the neck up. Whether you’re facing new challenges or struggling with ongoing circumstances, you may be feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, helpless, or anxious. You may also have slipped back into unhealthy patterns of behavior that you worked hard to change. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, and I’ll tell you up front that I don’t have a crystal ball or magic wand! I believe that we each have a unique journey, and while I do have education and training as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Maryland, I haven’t lived your life, and I’m not an expert on YOU.
Feeling overwhelmed by life? Stress feels unmanageable, relationships are strained, and moving forward seems impossible. The constant weight of overwhelm can leave you physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausted. You long to make peace with a painful past but feel stuck. Unmanaged stress affects every aspect of your life—work, health, and relationships. You recognize the need for change, and starting therapy is a courageous, proactive step toward well-being. I'm here to provide a compassionate, validating space where your thoughts and feelings are heard. Together, we'll work toward healing and a more balanced, fulfilling life. I help individuals and couples navigate emotional regulation, stress, and relationship challenges through evidence-based methods like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and somatic therapy. Specializing in mood conditions, trauma, and attachment, I focus on fostering resilience and balance. Using biofeedback, I strengthen the mind-body connection to support lasting healing. Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face them alone. Whether you’re seeking emotional balance, healing from past wounds, or strengthening your relationships, I’m here to support you. Together, we’ll create a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore your goals and build the life you deserve. Reach out—I’m ready to help.

Claudette Gadson is currently a Supervisee in Social Work (SISW) Resident of the State of Virginia with years of experience. She treats clients of all ages and specializes in depression, grief, trauma, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), anxiety, and suicidalhomicidal ideation.
My approach to therapy is largely cognitivebehavioral, with a strong emphasis on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) techniques, specifically learning to be mindful- noticing and accept your thoughts, feelings and physical sensations- while committing to behavior that is consistent with your own values. My experiences both in and out of the work setting are fairly broad so I feel I can address most issues clients present with. My style is engaging and supportive. I view our relationship as a partnership. I will spend the majority of our first sessions together listening to get to know you better. I believe that everything in our lives is interrelated, so at times I may let our focus move to whatever is particularly troubling to you that day. At other times, I may focus you back on the current problem we are trying to solve. I am married with two children and have had two career changes. I have experienced a wide variety of life stressors and have sought help when needed. I believe that these experiences have provided me with empathy, perspective and coping skills that I can use to help you.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 4 years of experience supporting individuals through life transitions, anxiety, grief, mood challenges, trauma, and substance use. I specialize in working with adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves, their relationships, or their sense of purpose. Many of my clients come to therapy seeking clarity, healing, and a more grounded sense of self. Together, we work to understand patterns that no longer serve them, build resilience, and cultivate meaningful change.
