My Approach to Helping
I believe in everyone's resilience and capacity to change and grow. I strive to foster optimism and hope so you can envision your possibilities and options in life, motivating you to try something new or different to change yourself or your life. I work collaboratively with you to explore, make sense of, and help navigate issues with relationships, work-related stress, school performance, grief, adjustment to illness, dealing with immigration or relocation, and other changes we go through.

Entering therapy can be a big step. I do my best to honor your decision to begin the process for change by providing you with a safe place, and by listening with all my attention to understand your view of the world. I draw from cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and psychodynamic approaches to individualize my therapeutic approach to best address your issues and symptoms. I see adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults from diverse backgrounds.
