I believe we create things anew daily. So if something in your life now is not working and you feel distress, it can change even if you feel stuck, discouraged, and overwhelmed. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them learn new coping skills, create positive changes, and attain the goals they have for themselves. My clients view me as supportive, nonjudgmental, and practical. I work with professionals, including MDs and attorneys, as well as stay-at-home moms and students. I have also worked with clients with health conditions such as diabetes, MS, and cancer, as well as women experiencing infertility, pre-natal or post-partum issues. I specialize in helping people manage anxiety and stress, perfectionism, self-esteem issues, co-dependency and relationship concerns, and depression. I also help my clients create a more balanced, meaningful, and fun life for themselves. This can include re-evaluating health habits and hobbies, managing negative self talk, and learning to be more assertive and set boundaries.

More Info About My Practice
My office is conveniently located in Farragut Square very near the two Farragut metro stations which serve the red, orange, blue, and silver lines. There is also plenty of parking.
I have evening hours available.
I offer a free 15-20 minute telephone consultation so that you can 'hear my voice' and get a sense of me. This is also a good opportunity for you to ask questions and for us to see if we are a good fit.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I really enjoy being a psychologist because every day is different. My work includes a lot of variety and I get to meet new people. I love it when my clients have new insights and start to make changes so they feel better. It is very rewarding to talk with a client I have seen for a while about the progress they have made.
