Ask yourself... what are you willing to change? The choice to begin therapy is a challenging one, but by taking this step, you're committing to your emotional well-being and to making improvements in your relationships with others. I use a respectful, non-judgmental approach in helping individuals find solutions to many of life's challenges, including: relationships, communication, anxiety, intimacy, sexuality, gender, self worth, and more.

More Info About My Practice

For individual and couples sessions, my standard fee for a 50 minute therapeutic hour is $140, which can be paid by cash or check. Fees for group therapy sessions vary depending on the length, size, and content of the group. Please see the groups page on my website for more information.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I am adept in helping people be open to experience more satisfying relationships and positive communication. I have been an active member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) for the past 8 years. I am Kink Aware and LGBTQ inclusive.

I also focus on step parenting and blended family challenges. Blended family life is very different from that of a first family. A step parent can often struggle with identifying their role in the family, and feel like an outsider in their own home. They can feel challenged in navigating visible and invisible boundaries in their house and their relationships.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Do some research, and give it a shot. Keep in mind that therapy is a process, and a good relationship with your therapist is essential. It is important to feel safe and comfortable with the person you choose. I offer free consultation with potential clients over the phone, and will continue to assess and check in during subsequent sessions to help determine if we are a good match.
