Life doesn't have to be this painful. You can change it, and we can help you do it!

If you want:

-more confidence
-better self-esteem
-to be able to resolve problems in relationships and keep them healthy
-to understand yourself better
-feel a purpose in your life
-reach your highest potential
-have a sense of wellness and peace within you

...we can help. We use solution-focused brief therapy and other evidence-based therapies in our work and our counselors have helped many men, women, teens, children, couples and families to live more fulfilled lives.

There are three counselors at LifePaths to offer you support. Jodi Hardesty provides individual and couples therapy. She has been in the counseling field since 2001 and has had a lot of success in working with people on relationship and self esteem issues. She is currently conducting a self improvement group for women on weekends.

Erin Calvert works with children and teens on many issues including trauma and behavior issues.

We take an approach in counseling that includes positive psychology principles. From this idea we have three things that guide us in the way we support our clients: building resilience, bringing positive change to your life, and improving your sense of well-being. We feel these leave you with lifelong effects from working with us.

Don't let things get worse! Call us today, we offer a free 20 minute phone consultation so you can decide whether one of our counselors is right for you.

More Info About My Practice

Our fee for individual/couples/family counseling is $80-100 per session. If you are interested in EMDR, those sessions are typically longer than usual (90 minutes) and are $150 per session.

We currently do not bill any insurance companies directly, however, we can provide you with a receipt that has all the appropriate codes for you to submit a claim yourself.

Along with offering counseling, we also offer clinical supervision to counselors seeking LPC licensure in the state of Colorado.

We also offer Executive Coaching. We've just added another professional to LifePaths (Alires Almon) who is trained in Organizational Psychology and Executive Coaching.

Our groups are one and a half hours and are $45/group:

Jodi Hardesty conducts a six-session self improvement group.

Erin Calvert conducts groups for girls ages 7-17. Several of these groups will be held in the summer of 2016. These groups will focus on friend relationships, self esteem, body image, handling difficult emotions and more!

Read more about our groups on our website and get in touch with us today for more information!

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

We feel that our particular strength as counselors is providing help to individuals who are working on self-esteem, relationship issues, or healing from trauma.

Our work with couples is in building communication skills, resolving conflicts, or overcoming problems that have come up such as addictions or betrayal.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

We have a list of things to consider before you start therapy on our blog, but the most important of these is to find a therapist who is a good fit for you. Many counselors will offer either an in-person or a phone consultation at no cost to give you some time to get a feel for the person and their style. We suggest that potential clients talk to several counselors before choosing someone.

We know it can be difficult to make that first call and possibly even more difficult to get yourself to your first appointment, and we try to put you at ease as much as possible, as well as give you as much information as we can so you know what to expect.

The Duration and Frequency of Therapy

We think the client is the main one to decide when therapy is complete. As your counselor, each of us would let you know what we think and collaborate with you to help you move in the direction that is best for you.

The duration and frequency of counseling is different for everyone. We see clients weekly, every two weeks and sometimes once a month. And along with that, sometimes clients feel they have what they need after one or two sessions, while others greatly benefit from more lengthy therapy. This is another area where the client and counselor collaborate to go in the direction that is best for the client.
