My Approach to Helping
I work from a compassionate, non-judgemental, client-centered perspective. I believe that the unique rapport that develops between client and therapist is one of the major components of emotional and psychological healing. Creating a therapeutic environment in which you--the client--can feel safe and explore your feelings is my primary objective.

My Role as a Therapist

As a therapist, I am the guide and you are the laborer. I accompany you on your journey of self-discovery and help you to discover your own authentic path through life, relationships and the inherent challenges of being human. My job as therapist is to point out places that you may not see, examine circumstances with you that may be confusing or difficult to respond to. My approach is supportive and collaborative, with a keen awareness of and sensitivity to your struggles, goals and hopes.
