My Approach to Helping
I am passionate about supporting others in their personal and spiritual growth. I help people going through major life transitions achieve peace of mind, symptom relief, and bring back a feeling of self-worth, acceptance and self-esteem. You could say I help people bring back their aliveness while integrating different approaches to match the therapy to the individual needs of the client. My work is based on the theoretical perspective that our sense of self, is formed and developed in relationship, particularly with early caregivers. Therefore, deep change occurs through the new and intentional relational experience that is co-created in therapy.
My psychotherapeutic approach is instinctive, intuitive, and relationally oriented. Through heartfelt listening, keen sensing, and attuned responding, the emotional truth of your own experience can unfold. As we work together in a safe therapeutic relationship, your troubles can be understood and eased.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I believe that if one life is changed, the world is changed. If one heart is feeling better, the world is feeling better. By creating a safe space with unconditional positive acceptance, respect and openness, the person may come into congruence and open up to possibilities they had not seen before.
