In art therapy, you do not need previous art experience or artistic skills. Through creating images which reflect your issues and strength by drawing, painting or clay work, you can visualize and clarify your problems and struggles. You can see the area of conflict objectively and together we can come up with creative solutions for your troubles and work toward what you want in your life. The creating process itself is relaxing, joyful and therapeutic. Art therapy is especially effective as a drug-free treatment for depression, anger, and other situations that require individuals to learn how to deal with their emotions and process them in a healthy manner.
