My Approach to Helping
My approach to counseling and psychotherapy is informed by relational, psychodynamic theory. I believe attention, exploration and interpretation of the therapeutic relationship has the greatest potential for meaningful, long-lasting change. I am interested in helping people develop a more authentic sense of their selves and their relationships to others, greater flexibility in their understanding of both internal and external events, and greater creativity in their approach to life. I do my best to meet the individual needs of each client, allowing their priorities and way of working to co-determine our approach and collaboration.

More Info About My Practice
My specialization working with adjustment to chronic physical health issues, especially diabetes developed out of my own experience with this condition since the age of 12.
