My work as a therapist is inherent to my belief that people are in essence good, want to love and be loved, feel a sense of belonging and acceptance, and fulfill a higher purpose in life. Appreciating the courage, work, time and commitment it requires to push forward, especially when life feels hard, I work to guide and support people through their personal journey to identify, focus and work to achieve what's important to them in living a more fulfilled life.

I think real-life experience deeply informs any therapist's work. I've personally known the challenges and rewards of single parenthood, being a full-time student while also a working parent, needing the support of others, learning navigating and working for the child welfare system, being a child advocate - particularly in the public school system, the success and struggles of business ownership and many of the other stressors that are typical in this modern world that can make life feel hard. I enjoy my life with my family, spiritual community and friends while engaging in various activities and travel. I'm pleased to bring all of that into my work while using mainstream counseling techniques and coaching skills to help people change their lives. It is for this reason I am passionate about helping people with similar issues.
