My Approach to Helping

I work with men and women who turn to psychotherapy either for help with something specific, or out of curiosity about how it can enrich life in general. Common concerns may include relationships, anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, chronic pain, addictions, body image, career and creativity.

I also work with couples in all stages of relationship. Whether you have recently become involved or have been together for many years, couples therapy can be helpful with recurrent conflict, communication, trust, sexuality and parenting.

Problematic patterns for both individuals and couples often develop unconsciously, and can be too difficult to change on your own. A good connection with a therapist makes it possible to safely address and work through painful struggles.

My therapeutic style is interactive and collaborative. We will work together on coming to a deeper understanding of what is happening in your life. Different possiblities and choices can then become available to you.
