My Approach to Helping

I believe in the human spirit's natural instinct for healing. That, coupled with support and compassion, we can all reach to new levels of understanding and self awareness. When I am working with a client, I feel it is my privilege and honor to be the one holding the safe space where the learning and growth occurs. It is with curiosity and non-judgment that I begin this journey with my clients. I feel we work in collaboration; the client brings their trust and desire and I provide a knowledge base from which to begin.

I am a Rhode Island Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I will accept some insurances.
I provide individual psychotherapy as well as couple and family. I will occasional hold small, short term group sessions or workshops on various topics such as parenting, stress management, relationship issues, etc.
