My Approach to Helping
Taking a new look at issues in your life is sometimes a daunting task. I am an experienced psychotherapist who works with individuals and couples of any age, cultural background or sexual orientation. My approach is primarily psychodynamic as I believe that examining the underlying roots to life circumstances is essential to the process of change. Towards this end, I will help you identify and change problematic patterns in your life.
In also understanding that some problems do not require researching one's past and are more about here-and-now life circumstances, I work hard to distinguish between different types of concerns in thinking about each individual's therapeutic needs.
My experience includes working with individuals, couples, families, people with HIV/AIDS and other medical problems, trauma survivors, substance use populations, geriatric populations and performing crisis intervention when needed. Regardless of what you would like to work on, I am committed to helping you reach your goals.

I accept Aetna, Multiplan, Oxford, PHCS, United, SelectHealth, Three Rivers Provider Network & Medicare insurance.
