My Approach to Helping
I have a very effective private practice in Clovis, California, where I treat adults with psychological, emotional, and behavioral difficulties. In my practice, I assist individuals and family members with making significant, long-lasting personal and interpersonal changes in their lives. Cognitive-Behavioral and Solution-Focused therapies form the foundation of my clinical work. When working with couples, I utilize Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy as well as the valuable teachings of John Gottman, Ph.D., who has over thirty years of research related to couples issues. When addressing anger management issues, I apply the teachings of Matthew McKay, Ph.D. and Peter Rogers. When addressing therapeutic issues related to male victims of sexual abuse, I apply the teachings of Mike Lew and Stephen Grubman-Black.
