My Approach to Helping

As a mental health professional in the age of the new millenium, I would describe my approach to helping people as integrative and holistic. As a therapist, I think it is crucial to create a loving, safe environment for each individual. Then specific to each individual, I create a plan integrating cognitive behavioral techniques, psychotherapy, visualization, relaxation, EMDR, hypnosis and reiki. Together with the client, we create a new positive self-image that can completely transform an individual's life. As Nelson Mandela said," Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure".

More Info About My Practice

As a therapist and a human being I realize we must all find our own truth, if we are to experience peace, joy, and love. As Marva Collins so eloquently wrote,"Trust yourself. Think for yourself. Act for yourself. Speak for yourself. Be Yourself. Imitation is suicide". I am honored and grateful that I have the opportunity to help the beautiful people I work with find their very own magnificent truth.
