My Approach to Helping

If life is feeling like more than you can handle, therapy can be key in finding some room to breathe. Together, we can turn overwhelm and fear into personal growth and a new and more real way of being in the world. The change that occurs in therapy is both gross and subtle, immediate and long-term, simple and profound. When we slow down and finally face ourselves, amazing things happen. Hidden energy surges forth, life becomes alive again, and we find that solving problems isn't as important as feeling empowered to be who we truly are. I work with individuals and couples who are seeking to understand themselves more deeply and to live life more fully. I especially enjoy working with women to find that center from which we can discover true happiness and self amid the pressures of this world. In addition to my training as a counselor and therapist, I apply my knowledge and experience of meditation, mindfulness, and humanistic psychology in the process of therapy. I hope you'll contact me soon so that we can get started.
