My Approach to Helping

Relationships with our most intimate partners are not that different from close relationships we have with anyone else in our lives. Each of us wants and needs to be heard, understood, acknowledged, and appreciated. Often, when we are so concerned about not getting our own needs met, we forget that our closest partners also have some unmet needs. A close relationship is an intricate dance, maintaining a delicate balance between giving and receiving. When our sexuality is added into the mix, feelings and responses become more complex. Understanding our own sexual desires and response patterns can help us to cope positively with the needs, requests and desires of our partners.

People come into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime. Each person brings unique and personal messages, beliefs, attitudes and behaviors that help to mold our future life experiences. We are all social beings, needing and craving social contact, acceptance, acknowledgement, appreciation and love. We are all biological beings, with brains and nervous systems that interpret internal and external stimuli in our own unique ways. And - we are also spiritual beings, knowing from within that we are all connected and that there is some higher supernatural force guiding and sustaining the universe.

From this perspective, we begin to understand the universality of our insecurities, fears, frustrations, anxieties, and problems. We realize that the anger, disappointment, boredom, depression or intermittent angst that we often feel, stems from our sense that we are separated from all that is. When we know that we are not alone, when we accept that we are powerful, and when we understand how the mind thinks, the body functions and the outer world responds, we can reach new and previously unattainable heights in our lives.

If you are ready to take a deep and powerful journey into your own mind and your inner soul, I can help to guide you. If you and your partner are ready to uncover each other's facades, delve into the depths of each other's passionate dreams, and fearlessly face the truth about your own shortcomings, misconceptions, talents and gifts, then I can help you discover true intimacy, perhaps for the first time in your lives. If you are ready to meet the love of your life and are willing to face your own self in the process, I can help you achieve your dreams.

More Info About My Practice

I work with individuals and couples, often for a short period of time, although if you really want to transform your life, sometimes it takes longer than you might have expected. Just the way it takes years to develop skills in any artistic, sport, academic, or business endeavours, it also can take some time to develop new social skills and eliminate antiquated and self-defeating habit patterns.

I also work with the mind and body connection. Your thoughts and emotions stimulate relaxation or tension within your body cells and neuromuscular structure. Your muscles, glands and internal organ functioning also affect your thoughts and emotions. Add to this, the very real input of everyday existence with the many stresses and interpersonal contacts we all have to deal with, and it is no wonder our minds get confused, upset, angry, frustrated and distrusting of those closest to us.

I am here to help if you are serious about unraveling your deepest confusions and expanding your potential exponentially.

My hours are flexible: weekdays, evenings and even weekends if needed, by appointment.

My fees are reasonable, considering the number of years I have been in practice, the number of courses, seminars, trainings I have taken and given, and my daily immersion in the art of living and loving to my fullest potential.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I use my sensitivity and persistence to listen attentively and encourage you to release your emotional blocks and allow love to fill your life. I help men and women heal their bodies, their relationships and their lives through love. And I provide a unique experience that can only happen through gentle touch and body oriented psychotherapy.
