My Approach to Helping

My approach to counseling is primarily is Existential Psychotherap, although I am trained in a number of areas. This approach allows those who face emotional challenges to focus on issues of meaning and purpose in life, and to discover why they may feel overburdened by the feelings of anxiety aloneness or meaninglessness that can accompany times of crisis and life change. My work allows individuals to find new and better ways to manage anxiety in order to make new and healthy choices, and emerge from therapy feeling more free and grounded in their lives.

Payment Policies and Insurance

At this time, I no longer am involved with insurance managed care panels; if your insurance company provides you with mental health benefits, my degree and credentials are sufficient for you to receive your maximum reimbursement allotment. All clients are responsible for filing their own paperwork for benefit purposes.

Client packages and sliding scales are also offered for those needing financial assistance due to insurance issues.
