My Approach to Helping
Are you feeling LOST, overwhelmed, or plagued by worry or intense sadness? Does LONELINESS consume you? Do you feel that you and your spouse are disconnected or GROWING APART? Are you tossing and turning at night thinking about the problems in your life? Are you SNAPPING at your spouse or children over insignificant things? Do you find that you and your partner are having the SAME arguments over and over again? Have you lost your ability to focus on what's most important? Have you stopped feeling that JOY and HAPPINESS that you once felt?

All of us encounter difficulties in our life at some time. Most of the time, we navigate these circumstances ourselves or with the help of close family and friends. If you're feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or need someone to help you resolve a re-occuring issue, let me help you begin to pave the way to your own personal happiness. My office setting is PRIVATE and DISCREET providing you and your loved ones a comfortable and relaxed setting to discuss your problems. Since I am a Solo-Practitioner, you will never have to worry about a crowded waiting room or running into someone you know in a crowded group-practice setting. Appointments are available during the day, evening, and weekends. In addition, I try and ensure that an appointment is available within 24 hours to those couples or individuals in severe crisis, schedule permitting.

For your convenience, my office is located in the Mid-town/ Dundee area, one block south of Dodge Street on 49th Street.

My work as a therapist has spanned nearly two decades with special emphasis on helping couples. I understand that selecting the right therapist is important, especially with all the years you have invested in your relationship. There is simply no substitute for the experience of a clinician with years of expertise.

I have a website which extensively describes my approach to helping people. I hope you'll take the time to click on the link provided to review my practice and how I can best help you and your family.

I look forward to talking to you.

Sincerely, Cindy Ridgway
