My Approach to Helping
There are times in all of our lives when we are struggling, hurting, and feeling alone in our pain. We all experience loss, brokenness and heartbreak. Some of us experience depression, anxiety, and fears that we cannot explain or ease no matter how hard we try to €œwhite knuckle€ it.

Counseling is a relationship between your therapist and you, you and your loved one, or you and your family. It is a special relationship, though, with a skilled therapist who can walk alongside you, challenge you, and support you in healing, recovering, and growing from the pain in your life and relationships. Counseling can teach you skills to help you to communicate more effectively, parent more effectively, combat fear and anxiety, and improve your relationships in ALL areas of your life.

More Info About My Practice
My hourly fee is $85. I accept a certain number of clients on a sliding scale basis and will be happy to talk to you about that on the phone if you prefer. I do not accept insurance as I believe you and I as the client and the therapist should decide how often we meet, and for how long. I do not feel that insurance companies need to know the private details of our therapy, however without those they often will not cover the treatment. This feels intrusive and unfair to me for the client's sake.
