    this sounds something like acupuncture and it is a good alternate method to therapy for people who do not want to or cannot take up the conventional therapy methods.

    would this be the equivalent or at least a distant cousin to a treatment like acupuncture?

    Tapping a patient's body at several points sounds a little funny,but should be encourage if it delivers the desired results nevertheless...Anything that works to improve the condition of a patient without harming anybody in any manner should be encouraged...and if this technique has been practised by ancient cultures,then it has to have a proven record.
