I am excited to start each session with my clients, picking up from our conversation last week, or exploring something new. Therapy is easier, and frankly more fun, when therapeutic work doesn't feel like a chore. I work with individuals, couples, and families to explore new perspectives and practice new solutions. I primarily use systemic therapies, which help us understand issues within different contexts, like family, work, or culture. By understanding your daily life, and your systems, we can explore how to evolve smaller solutions so they feel achievable. Each time we talk, we build upon our therapy goals, moving with life. Communication is everything in couples therapy. Combining our goals, or empathizing with past injuries, requires finding new ways to talk, and listen. Often the beginning of couples work requires building trust to believe and understand one another. I utilize Gottman Method and emotion-focused work to help couples to connect to shared goals and to each other. For individuals, I commonly work with mood conditions (anxiety, depression, etc.), as well as exploring familial or social relationships. Solution-focused work helps with managing symptoms and finding smaller achievements that build into bigger change over time. It's then important to evolve those solutions in natural systems, like family or work contexts.
My name is Stephanie and I'm the proud owner of Live, Love, Loud Mental Health Counseling PLLC. We work with adults and seniors, individuals, couples, families, and groups struggling with anxiety, depression, and identity issues. We help by allowing you to tell your story, tap into your individual strengths to facilitate healing, achieve greater emotional intelligence, develop healthier communication styles, and overcome your life challenges. Within a strength-based, client-centered environment, we utilize an eclectic approach using elements of solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and positive psychology.

Adult and Adolescent Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Hello, and nice to meet you! I have been in healthcare as a bachelor’s degree registered nurse since 2010, and I have worked across many different healthcare settings in New York and Texas. I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), specializing in psychiatry. I received my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2022. After graduating, I worked at a psychiatric emergency room (ER) in Dallas, Texas, before transitioning to outpatient services. In addition to my professional experience, I have pursued complementary and alternative therapeutic modalities for my personal health. My interests include yoga, meditation, and kickboxing. I provide mental health treatment services to children, adolescents, adults, and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who want to break out of unhelpful patterns affecting their lives, in order to awaken unrealized vitality, potential, and creativity. I prescribe psychiatric medications with a holistic perspective, as needed. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Nursing because I am committed to patient care and professional development. I have a special interest in advancing psychiatric nursing practice through education, research, and quality improvement projects.
I specialize in helping couples who care deeply about their relationship but find themselves having the same fight over and over again. I’ll help you understand your cycle and find ways to get unstuck. Together, you can build a relationship that feels secure and safe. I use emotionally focused therapy (EFT), a well-researched, evidence-based approach to couples therapy that helps partners move from conflict and disconnection toward a stronger, more secure emotional bond. Rather than focusing only on surface-level communication skills, EFT looks at the deeper emotions and attachment needs that shape how couples interact. Many partners find themselves stuck in repetitive cycles, one pursuing and the other withdrawing, without fully understanding why those patterns keep happening. In EFT, we work together to slow down these moments and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. You’ll begin to understand your relationship patterns in a new way, recognizing how both partners are affected and how each of you is trying to cope. As those deeper emotions become clearer, sessions focus on helping you express them in ways that create connection rather than conflict. This process helps partners feel more seen, heard, and understood. Over time, couples can shift out of painful, reactive cycles and build a more secure, supportive relationship. EFT has been shown to be highly effective in helping couples strengthen trust, improve emotional intimacy, and create lasting change. The goal is not just to reduce conflict, but to help you feel more connected, safe, and supported in your relationship.
