My Practice & Services
We have one life to live, and living that life as happy and as healthy as we can can be difficult at times. Life can be full of many challenges, when we are faced with challenges, the way we process through those challenges can depend on the influences we had throughout our lives and the way we witnessed challenges being managed. We have a lot of influences as we navigate life, and those influences can have an effect on our lives. As a professional in this field, my goal is to create a safe space for individuals, couples, and families to express their experiences, their feelings, struggles, and accomplishments without judgment and a space to develop the skills for managing those tougher times. I do believe that we all have these skills within us, but those skills can be hard to find when they have not been used.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, as well as group therapy. I work with clients using different models of therapy, including cognitive behavior techniques, solution-focused techniques, narrative, and emotionally focused techniques, along with other systemic and postmodern approaches. I have worked with people from many different walks of life through life transitions, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and many other challenges. I work to help each person reach the goals they are seeking assistance with, to gain the confidence they are looking for, and rebuild relationships that have been strained by introducing them to their inner strengths and skills.
I enjoy many things, being outdoors, traveling, and most importantly, spending time with family and friends. I really enjoy making memories with my partner and 3 children, as a family we enjoy game nights and BBQs in the backyard with friends and family. I want to travel to the many tropical places of the world and enjoy new adventures with those I love.
