What's My Approach to Therapy?

We work from a trauma-informed lens, understanding that many of the patterns, anxieties, and emotional reactions people struggle with today are rooted in experiences that once helped them survive. Rather than asking, â€œWhatâ€™s wrong with you?â€ We gently explore, â€œWhat happened to you?â€ and â€œWhat do you need now?â€ Our practice specializes in perinatal mental health, supporting women and mothers through pregnancy, postpartum, fertility challenges, birth trauma, identity shifts, and the invisible mental load of caregiving. We know that this season of life can bring joy and loveâ€”but also overwhelm, rage, anxiety, grief, and self-doubt. You donâ€™t have to navigate that alone. Our approach integrates evidence-based trauma therapies with practical, compassionate support. We focus on nervous system regulation, attachment, and building insight into the protective parts of you that show up under stress. Therapy with us is collaborative and relational. I move at your pace, creating space for both deep healing work and real-life strategies you can use right away.
