What's My Approach to Therapy?

I believe therapy should be a safe space where someone in need of help can express themselves without being judged. Eliminating behaviors and beliefs that no longer serve you can help you grow. I use a range of approaches tailored to your needs, assisting you to develop skills and tools that nurture your growth. I use a blend of humanistic and cognitive approaches in therapy, focusing on creating a supportive, empathetic space while helping you develop practical tools for change. A key goal of treatment is to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that can negatively impact your emotions and mood, allowing for healthier perspectives and more balanced emotional well-being. (Mi lengua materna es el español para los que prefieran comunicarse asi).

My Practice & Services

As a licensed marriage and family therapist with over a decade of experience, I have helped people manage a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, childhood concerns, and relationship problems. I have extensive experience working with couples on a wide range of relationship challenges, helping partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their connection. In my work with individuals, I focus on helping clients manage and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, offering practical tools and supportive guidance to foster emotional well-being and personal growth. Whether working with couples or individuals, my goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where meaningful change can happen.I have worked extensively with adults, teens, and couples in private practice and various mental health agencies.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Being a psychotherapist allows me to be part of people?s journeys toward healing and growth. It?s incredibly rewarding to help others gain insight, overcome challenges, and feel more empowered in their lives. I feel honored to provide a supportive space where people can be themselves, feel heard, and make meaningful changes. Every person?s story is unique, and I?m grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside my clients as they work toward a more fulfilling life.

My Role as a Therapist

As a therapist, I take a compassionate and understanding approach, meeting each person with empathy and respect. I believe in creating a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings.
