Hi, I’m Dr. Calandra Hawkins, an ALC therapist passionate about supporting minority women who are carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, and the unique stressors that come with living at the intersection of multiple identities.
In our work together, I create a space where you can exhale where your story is seen, your emotions are valid, and your healing is the focus. I approach therapy with cultural humility, deep respect, and a belief in your innate resilience. I understand that anxiety and depression often show up alongside experiences like racial trauma, generational pressure, perfectionism, and the silent labor of always having to “hold it together.”
My style is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based approaches while honoring your cultural values, lived experiences, and personal strengths. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply tired of navigating it all alone, I’m here to support you in finding relief, clarity, and a sense of grounded peace.
