I believe we each have the ability within to heal ourselves.
I believe we each have the ability within to heal ourselves.
I am a bicultural psychologist living in Buenos Aires and I work with English-speaking individuals, couples or families living and/or visiting here. I use a multi-dimensional approach to working with clients having issues with anxiety, stress, depression, lack of motivation, relationship problems, amongst others. I also work with clients who need support in transitioning a particularly difficult moment in their life cycle. I find it particularly important to work with foreigners living in Argentina because, while living abroad itself is rarely the cause of suffering, it can act as a stressor for pre-existing issues and conditions. This is so because, when we live in a foreign country, we are far away from our support networks and our cultural comfort zone. I work not only with individuals but also with families, including cross-cultural couples and families in the midst of a migration.
My goal is to help people get “unstuck” from unhelpful patterns in their lives and relationships. To do this, I can help you better understand yourself and your loved ones, increase empathy and connection, and support you in changing behaviors that are not working for you. Blaming and judgment keep us stuck, but we can often find new ways of moving forward through better understanding one another. It is extremely important to me to create a therapeutic environment that is warm, empowering, and safe. To facilitate growth and change, some of my clients choose to incorporate legal psychedelic therapies into their care. I specialize in ketamine-assisted couple therapy, and I provide preparation and integration support for other psychedelics from a harm-reduction approach. At Enamory, we develop, test, and train other therapists in new approaches to psychedelic-assisted couple therapy, so you can trust that we are some of the world's leading experts in using ketamine and other psychedelic medicines to heal relationship injuries. Relationships matter. Research shows that relationship distress causes problems in your health, mental health, work, children - it can even shorten your life. On the other hand, healthy relationships protect you from stress and help you thrive. Unfortunately, too many people don’t have access to effective help for their relationships, or wait too long to seek help. Because I believe everyone deserves healthy relationships, I believe in using relationship therapy that works. I practice evidence-based therapy, which means I use therapeutic practices that have been studied and supported by empirical research studies. My clients should feel confident that the interventions I provide have been shown to be effective. Last but certainly not least, I practice from an affirming, feminist, and anti-racist philosophy. This means that I unconditionally accept and value my clients’ gender, sexual, racial, cultural, and other identities. My practice takes into account each person’s unique experiences within contexts of social and systemic oppression, and the impact of these forces on your interpersonal relationships.
Are you wanting relief from anxiety, relationship struggles, or feeling stuck? With over 20 years in practice, I help clients move beyond managing symptoms to understanding the deeper patterns that keep them feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of themselves. My style is warm, respectful, honest and direct. I work collaboratively with clients to explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact, and how these patterns developed over time. When we understand the why behind our struggles, it becomes much easier to create meaningful change. In our work together, I’ll offer insight, practical suggestions, and support while helping you reconnect with your own inner strength and wisdom. My goal is not only to help you feel better in the moment, but to leave therapy feeling more empowered, self-aware, and confident navigating your life and relationships. I offer a free 20-minute call so we can talk and see if we are a good fit.
Codependency, alcoholism, compulsive behaviors, and addictions often begin as coping mechanisms but eventually become the main problem in a person’s life. I use an integrated approach based on self-acceptance work, boundary modeling and psychodynamic-attachment theory to help clients process, reframe, replace and transform character defects and addictive behaviors that no longer serve them. I believe the role of the therapist is to provide the client with enough unconditional support and practical strategies to help them succeed in their recovery journey. To facilitate this dynamic, I provide a non-judgmental and empowering therapeutic environment.
Hi, I'm Dr. Vince. I’m a licensed psychologist based in Pasadena, CA. I work with individuals and couples who are ready to stop just getting through it and start living with intention. My approach weaves together neuroscience, attachment theory, and values-based therapy to help you heal at both an emotional and nervous system level. I’m warm, direct, and I’ve been told I make the process feel a little less heavy. I offer individual therapy, couples and relationship counseling, and a couples intensive program designed to help couples dig deep and make immediate changes to their relationship. I take a collaborative, goal-oriented approach that’s built around you: your story, your strengths, your nervous system. We’ll work together to understand what’s going on beneath the surface, build tools that actually stick, and help you move through life with more clarity and confidence. I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your healing journey.
If you and your partner keep having the same fight, just with different words, that usually isn't a communication problem. It's an old wound running the show. I'm Yaji Tramontini, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and I help couples and individuals across California break out of painful, repeating patterns, break down the energetic walls that keep you disconnected, and truly reconnect. Whether you're stuck in constant reactivity, walking on eggshells, drifting apart, or navigating divorce, co-parenting, or high-conflict family dynamics, my work is about helping you calm the intensity, rebuild safety and trust, and reconnect in a way that lasts. Relationship pain is often driven by deeper, unhealed experiences, so alongside couples work, I use eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to resolve trauma at the root. I've practiced EMDR since 2010, with more than 20,000 clinical hours, and I'm an Approved Clinical Supervisor. I also work one-on-one with parents in resist-refuse dynamics (sometimes called parental alienation). When a child is resisting or refusing contact, the most powerful thing a parent can do is regulate their own nervous system, so they can respond to their child, the other parent, and the courts from a grounded, steady place. I help you build that. My approach is holistic and spiritually integrated. I draw on somatic and attachment-based work, mindfulness, and transpersonal psychology, honoring both your logic and your intuition, emotions, and spiritual life. Everything is 100% online, so you can do this meaningful work from anywhere in California. If any of this sounds like you, reach out for a free 20-minute consultation.
In my work with you (consistent weekly 50 min sessions), I step in as a guide on your path, and am versed in being able to see things from a larger, more symbolic perspective with you, to help you do that with better ease yourself. The approach I use is called "holistic" because I am looking at your personality traits, strengths, talents, gifts, weaknesses, body system, energy system, heart, emotions, relationships, moods, and mental orientation to piece together the choices you have made on your journey here. Together, we look at Who You Are in a deeper way, and with a lot of love, empathy and compassion. What works and what is not working? Where are you stuck? Where are you in pain? Where do you feel empty, bored or lost? What do you long for? Where do you feel flow and joy? How are your relationships working or not working? Then we notice patterns and dynamics that repeat year after year. These show up in your physical world and your physical body. Perhaps there is loss, grief, anger, guilt or shame holding you back. I help you clear this so that more of your life force is freed up and you can live a more fulfilling life of your choosing. Many of our patterns are attachment related and go back to a time when we were very young or little. I can help you see this with greater insight, help you know yourself deeper, and fall more in love with your life journey. In this way, I am working with you the person, as well as you the Soul. I am not afraid to address the concept of the "soul" together and your deeper connection to all. In fact, it is imperative that we do.
Many people first come to me asking the question "Why?" Why can't I stop doing this? Why do I keep having the same argument with my partner? Why am I so sad, lonely, angry, etc.? Why can't I change this? Why am I suffering so much? Why is my body reacting this way? Why did this happen to me? As strange as it sounds, sometimes really knowing ourselves is a real challenge, and it takes courage to embark on the journey to greater self-awareness. But knowing yourself is the only way to really know what makes you truly, enduringly happy and fulfilled. I invite you to get to know yourself. Let's work together to figure out how you can master your life, change unwanted behaviors, heal and ultimately get happy. I possess a wide range of professional and personal experience. I come from an honest, straight-forward place, and strive to share what I see and feel happening with you that may be getting in the way of your reaching your goals and living the life you want. My goal is to teach you to be your own guide. If you think you may be ready to address what's bothering you more directly, with some professional and compassionate assistance, please contact me for a free 30-minute phone consultation to see if we're a good fit.
Are you stressed out trying to make your relationships work smoothly? Do you wish that things would just flow without you having to think about what you should do before you do it? Isn't it a hassle when you feel that your natural way of being isn't accepted? Perhaps you get upset and angry, and end up in conflict. May be you keep quiet but seethe inside and make yourself sick with insomnia, back ache, migraine, weight gain, stomach cramps, hair loss, tinnitus, or sexual performance problems. Your longing to just be who you are and have intimate connections with loved ones is normal and natural. You can reduce your frustration by learning the skill of using your emotions to connect with others in warm and inviting ways.
