My approach to helping is trauma-informed, compassionate, culturally responsive, and client-centered. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, I believe people are more than their symptoms or circumstances, and effective counseling begins with creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I help clients identify patterns that may be affecting their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors, while also developing practical strategies for meaningful change. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), while incorporating techniques from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) when appropriate. My goal is not simply to help clients manage problems, but to help them understand themselves, recognize their strengths, build effective coping skills, and move toward the life they want. I meet clients where they are and collaborate with them to identify realistic goals that support lasting growth and wellness.
