One of the most inspiring messages I received at the beginning of my career was this: Good therapy doesnt look like therapy at all but like a very good conversation. Some may disagree with this, but Ive found that building a therapeutic alliance is essential in helping guide others toward the outcomes they so desire. So lets have that very good conversation.
