Steven Turner, Master's degree

I am a supporter who is dedicated to understanding the human experience and helping individuals achieve positive life changes. I believe in the inherent strength of emotions and view them as opportunities for self-exploration and growth. My approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and meeting individuals where they are on their journey. I strive to create a safe space where clients can explore their feelings, traumas, and challenges without judgment. I employ positive interventions and practices with individuals with a variety of mental and behavioral health diagnoses to support healing and behavioral change. I work with a diverse range of clients, including adults, adolescents aged 14 to 18, and couples. Additionally, my extensive military background brings relatability and a unique perspective to therapy, particularly for service members and their families. One of my guiding principles is captured in the quote: “Unless an individual learns to face their shadows, they will continue to see themselves in others; as the world outside of self is a reflection of the world inside of self.” I look forward to collaborating with you on your journey towards self-discovery, personal growth, and healing.
