What's My Approach to Therapy?
Beginning therapy often brings a mix of hope and uncertainty, especially if you’ve been holding a lot on your own. I strive to create a space that feels grounded, collaborative, and attuned to your pace, where your nervous system and personal history are respected. You don’t need to arrive with a clear agenda—our work unfolds through curiosity and shared understanding.
My work is rooted in trauma-informed, experiential therapy that looks beyond symptom relief to the emotional patterns and meanings beneath them. Together, we explore responses that may have once been adaptive or protective, with the goal of gently updating what no longer fits your present life. I approach this process with care, compassion, and deep respect for each person’s resilience.
At its core, therapy with me is about creating room for authenticity and growth. Rather than pushing for change, we focus on helping you feel seen and supported in a way that allows change to emerge naturally. My hope is that this work leads to greater emotional freedom, clarity, and a stronger sense of connection—to yourself, and to the relationships that matter most.
