Ryan utilizes techniques from existentialism, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). He puts the person above all and focuses on building a trusting therapeutic relationship. Ryan grew up just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, and was a competitive high school athlete. Upon graduating high school, he spent his college years in the White Mountains where he first learned about the college counseling center. Since then, therapy has been a positive force in his growth and has led him to a career in mental health. Hate it or love it, Ryan is an avid Boston sports fan. He stays active by skiing, mountain biking, and running.
