My Approach to Helping
I view counseling as a partnership with a purpose. Through our wellness partnership, we will focus on empowering you to heal from past trauma, learn strategies for managing anxiety and depression, and restore your confidence in your ability to achieve your goals. I believe that you are the expert on matters concerning your life. You know your life story. You know where you have been, what you have tried, and where you want to go. As your partner, I assist you in achieving your goals.
My education has prepared me to work with you as a therapist. My life experiences have prepared me to understand the struggles, frustrations, and stress of having a sudden disruption in your life plans and goals. COVID-19 has provided you and me with many challenges which were and remain beyond our control. Finding a therapist to partner with you as you refocus and regroup is within your control. Developing a new strategy for completing your journey toward wellness, happiness and fulfillment are within your control.
