My Approach to Helping
If someone in the street stopped you and asked, "where are you in life?" would you be able to answer them honestly? It's not as easy as it sounds. We aren't taught how to be an adult in school, and identity for every person is different, so there are bound to be hiccups or maybe even questions and concerns roaming your mind. Rest assured, that's what I'm here for. It's perfectly ok to be nervous. Some call me a mental health professional, but I like to call myself a healer because talking is healing. Please know I will continue to validate your experiences as they are true to you and encourage you to be true to yourself.
Everyone deserves better mental health. I became a counselor after going to therapy myself. It allows me to speak from the heart about its impacts on my life and its incredible healing powers. I serve a vast population of clients aged 13-65 with varying experiences, such as depression, anxiety, and addiction.
I believe in client-led treatment. I am a passenger on your bus, and you are the driver. Together we can experience each stop from your lens. If you're interested in exploring and understanding your identity with an open mind in the safest place possible, my office is the place for you.
