My Approach to Therapy
There are seasons in life where things quietly shift, leaving you feeling unsure, stuck, or searching for clarity. At times, life can also leave you feeling scared, overwhelmed, or simply exhausted—like you’ve been in a constant state of stress, rejection, or emotional strain. Maybe you’ve been carrying feelings of shame, guilt, failure, or even insignificance for a long time.
I work with individuals navigating these in-between spaces, including changes in relationships, family roles, career paths, identity, and healing from anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and experiences of abuse. I also have experience supporting military members and their families.
I believe the ability to relate and recognize is one of the most powerful parts of therapy. When we slow down, take time, and fully understand your story, patterns begin to make sense, and meaningful change becomes possible. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and collaborative. I integrate mindfulness and practical strategies that build on your strengths, helping you find solutions that truly work for you. I also bring honesty, warmth, and even humor into the process, creating a space where you can feel safe to be yourself.
As a resident in counseling under supervision, I offer a supportive space to reflect, reset, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we will focus on what matters most, building clarity, and taking intentional steps toward growth and healing.
I hope you can become your own strongest ally and feel a renewed sense of freedom and worth. That you walk away from this journey grounded, confident, and aligned with who you truly are. I’m honored you’re considering this step, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
