My Approach to Helping
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with over 25 years of experience. I have worked with a diverse population in various settings, including a Prison, a Mental Health Hospital, and a University College Counseling Center. I have had the privilege of working with clients with multiple issues/concerns. My Counseling Style is non-judgmental, Compassionate, and Personable. I always strive to understand, support, show empathy, and be compassionate when working with my clients. I typically use a Person-Centered approach combined Strength of a focused and personal standpoint utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Positive Psychology when working with individuals. I use each methodology to help the client develop healthy coping skills and an action plan to create a stable mental place where they can maintain and meet their goals.
