What's My Approach to Therapy?

You’re tired. Maybe you’ve been holding everything together for everyone else, but inside you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck. Your mind won’t slow down. You replay conversations. Old pain shows up when you least expect it. You’re functioning but you’re not at peace. If that’s where you are, you don’t need to be fixed. You need space to breathe, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin to feel steady again. When we work together, I help you slow things down. We identify the patterns keeping you stuck and gently unpack the experiences that still feel heavy. I don’t believe in just talking about problems. I focus on helping you experience real relief in your daily life. If trauma is part of your story, we may use EMDR to help your brain and nervous system reprocess painful memories so they stop hijacking your present. If anxiety is loud, we’ll build practical tools to quiet the noise and help you feel grounded and in control. I’m warm, direct, and culturally responsive. I’ll support you, challenge you when needed, and walk alongside you as you build clarity, confidence, and emotional stability. You don’t need the perfect words. You just need to show up. Healing is possible and you don’t have to do it alone.

My Practice & Services

My practice is rooted in culturally responsive, affirming, and results-driven care. I provide therapy to adults and couples who are ready for meaningful change, not just conversation. Sessions are collaborative, structured, and tailored to your specific needs and goals. In addition to individual therapy, I offer trauma-focused work using EMDR, psychological evaluations (including immigration and custody-related evaluations), and consultation services. My practice also provides supervision and training for clinicians seeking to deepen their clinical skills. Whether you’re seeking therapy for personal growth or navigating a high-stakes situation requiring evaluation, you can expect thoughtful, thorough, and compassionate care. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, challenged, and empowered to build lasting emotional strength.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I am skilled at helping with anxiety that feels constant and exhausting, trauma that still impacts your present, and relationship patterns that keep repeating. I support clients navigating life transitions, burnout, emotional overwhelm, and identity or cultural stress. I also work with individuals healing from unhealthy or toxic relationships. In addition to therapy, I provide psychological evaluations for immigration, custody, and other high-stakes legal matters. Whether you?re seeking personal growth or support through a complex situation, I bring thoughtful, thorough, and culturally responsive care to the work.

My Role as a Therapist

My role is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest and supported enough to grow. I?m not here to judge, fix, or lecture you. I?m here to help you understand your patterns, regulate your nervous system, and build practical tools that create real change in your everyday life. At times, I?m a guide, helping you see what may be hard to notice on your own. At times, I?m a steady presence, especially when things feel overwhelming. And when needed, I?m direct and solution-focused, helping you move from insight to action. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, culturally responsive, and empowering. You bring your lived experience. I bring clinical expertise and structure. Together, we create clarity, confidence, and lasting growth.
