My Approach to Helping
These last several weeks and in moving forward has been wild, strange, and uncertain for most of us. COVID-19 is creating a unique situation and it is forcing everyone into new routines and different lifestyles. Many people are working from home. Most of us are living in a different way than usual. In times of uncertainty, your habits can ground you. I'd like to encourage you to stick to your routines in whatever way you can during this period. When you feel restless, do a 1-minute workout. When you feel overwhelmed, practice a minute of mindfulness or deep breathing. When the world seems uncontrollable, focus on what you can control. We will get through this with the right mindset. I am offering a free 20 minute consultation to talk about how you are coping with the pandemic virus. I'm wanting to provide coping suggestions to help you and your loved ones during this time. My experience in mental health started as a Recreational Therapist which evolved into individual, couples, and family therapy as a licensed professional I enjoy helping individuals navigate their way through difficult relationships while reducing anxiety, depression, relationship conflict and stress. With sensitivity, compassion, encouragement, and humor, I will be there for you without judgement.
