What's My Approach to Therapy?
Welcome to Women’s Counseling! I work with college students and young adult women in their 20s and 30s who struggle with anxiety, difficulty managing emotions, career or academic pressure, perfectionism, low self-esteem and challenges with friendships. Whatever you’re going through, you don’t have to face it alone! I understand the realities of your world—from identity and neurodivergence to the pressures of digital life. Together, we’ll work to manage anxiety, build emotional resilience, and feel more in control in work, school, and relationships.
Transformational healing happens at the level of the soul. While traditional counseling often focuses on repairing negative thinking, we will go deeper to uncover the unconscious harmful beliefs about yourself that drive these patterns. You will learn to feel good about yourself—not just when things are going well, but no matter what is happening around you.
With a background in somatic trauma therapy, I bring a unique, intuitive approach to my practice. I have a naturally heightened ability to sense somatic traumas that may be deeply held in the body and unconscious mind. The combination of trauma therapy and somatic therapy results in a highly effective approach for integrative healing.
